Helping Children Of The Future
“Do your best to be your best.”
Thank you so much for all of the amazing birthday greetings this week.
My birthday was this past Monday. I had such a blast celebrating with my friends at home in Hollywood and also spending time at Lake Arrowhead, CA with someone special. I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go back again.
How are you doing?
This year overall has been quite different from the Coronavirus pandemic to protesting so I wanted to check-in and see how you are?
Here is a link that goes directly to resources to help. I am a big supporter of the #BlackLivesMatter movement and I encourage you to take a look at the link and make a difference.
A very big shoutout to my sister Lorene Bauck in Florida for being named Sarasota Military Academy Teacher Of The Year! She has been recognized on news platforms like ABC 7.
Watch her feature here. Bravo, Ate!
For this week’s blog post, I wanted to shed light on my upcoming two-part YouTube special documentary that was filmed right before quarantine. The production team is finished editing it and I can’t wait for you to watch this important two-part special.
An opportunity presented itself for me to be a guest speaker in front of kids ages 10-11 to discuss how I earned my career in entertainment, how to get started on YouTube and discuss ending bullying in schools.
I’ve spent the last couple of years thinking of ways I want to impact and help others with my work. Every artistic project that I’ve released from music, to the episodes I put out is intended to help make an impact on people. I’ve given my time to help others at local organizations like, “Project Angel Food,” which was filmed for Episode Five, Season One of the YouTube series, “Your Time With Thomas,” along with volunteering with another great organization called, “Make A Wish.”
I wanted to make sure that I gave it my all during this public speaking engagement and that my speech was going to be helpful to the students of Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary.
In this two-part YouTube special documentary, the camera follows me as I enter the school and meet the kids. All of these students are in 5th grade and I was really excited to get to know them and hear their stories. This school is very diverse just by meeting the students. Just like them, at age 10-11, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be so I went in there putting myself in their shoes and really trying to understand them and help them discover who they are and what they want to be.
You’ll get to see the beautiful faces of these kids and also hear from them. A lot of them to my surprise were very vocal and I know they are really talented kids that are going to go extremely far.
At the end, I made sure to discuss about bullying. I’m very passionate about making sure we end bullying in all schools and that my niece and nephew grow up in a world where bullying becomes a thing in the past.
Thank you to the faculty and staff of Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary for making me feel so welcomed and to Lauren Frazier Despart for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime.
You will not want to miss this two-part YouTube special documentary of, “Your Time With Thomas,” coming this month, June!

Nothing brings me more joy then leaving an impression and making an impact on people, so with that said, I urge you to take the time this weekend to think of ways to help make a difference in someone’s life.
Till next time, be safe, wear your mask, practice social distancing and do your best to be your best.
Love,
Thomas
