Everything Is Meant To Be

Light it up and set me free

My seventh studio song, “Everything Is Meant To Be,” is available now on Apple Music, Spotify, along with 2 remixed versions, “Everything Is Meant To Be - All Night Club Remix” and “Everything Is Meant To Be - Extended Remix” by 2025 Grammy-winning producer Robert Eibach.

Growing up, I loved watching all of the pop stars perform. Many of my references have come from Britney Spears, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga, so I knew electronic pop dance music was the main genre I wanted to be a part of. The one thing I didn’t see much of in entertainment and still to this day see so very little of is someone who looks like me and is a Filipino performer in mainstream media. I hope my creative work inspires others and creates a change for the future.

As a proud Filipino born in Los Angeles, the colors on the artwork represent the flag of the Philippines.

The new single was a collaborative effort with Recording Academy Member, Lancen GM, GrammyU Member, Yungchrisbeats, and my long-time producing partners, MELT Music.

For this project, I was thrilled to collaborate with such talented people in the music industry. I wanted to write a song about feeling empowered after losing something. After a series of life-changing events in the last year or so, I was in the headspace of writing something that hit home for me. In life, we are bound to lose things we love, and so this song has a very versatile message in it, which is, everything is meant to be, and letting go isn’t always a bad thing. Sometimes, flipping the script and creating a narrative that comes from a place of feeling excited after loss and the emotions of excitement with starting fresh and setting yourself free is the true heart of this song.

As many of you know, I am a long-time advocate for mental health with support for a non-profit organization, Asian Mental Health Project, and embedding the importance of taking care of your mental health in my creative projects and live shows is very important to me.

I was recently on stage at the San Diego County Fair to share my story about entering therapy, and it’s no surprise that this single includes a personal touch to it with self-expression and empowerment as the main core themes.

I worked with creative director Kyle Thompson and songwriter Isabelle Pouya to complete the lyrics for the dance-focused project.
