There’s something exciting about stepping into a new chapter of your life and sometimes, that chapter comes with a soundtrack.

For me, that soundtrack is Best You’ve Ever Had.

This song is a little different from what I’ve shared before. It’s confident, playful, flirty, and unapologetically fun. I wanted to create something that lets me embrace a lighter, more carefree side of myself while still staying true to who I am as an artist.

Written by Henry Ingraham, Best You’ve Ever Had explores confidence, attraction, chemistry, and the excitement of knowing what you want. It’s contemporary pop with plenty of energy, and I hope it’s the kind of song that makes you turn up the volume, sing along, and have a good time.

One of the things I love about making music is that every song allows me to explore something new. With this record, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone, experiment with a different energy, and have fun.

While this song is about having fun, it’s also part of my larger journey as an artist. I’ve always believed in being authentic, embracing individuality, and using my platform to support LGBTQIA+ visibility, mental health awareness, and AAPI representation.

For me, evolving as an artist means giving myself permission to try new things while remaining grounded in who I am.
