WORKOUT REGIMEN

Fitness and working out are what motivates me every day.

I feel my best after I’m done exercising but staying fit comes with a lot of discipline and mental strength.

Finding what workouts work best for you and your body is always the first step.

I like playing tennis, hiking, snowboarding and going to the gym. Knowing that about myself has allowed me to learn more about these activities and help find my fitness identity. Some people like going to yoga, taking classes, doing some type of physical activity, or hiring a personal trainer.

I would highly recommend finding out what you like to do first and what works with your lifestyle. Here in Los Angeles, there are tons of clubs to join. I choose to be a member of LA Fitness. Clubs like Equinox, 24 Hour Fitness, Gold’s, Crunch, Planet Fitness, Rumble, cardio-focused clubs like Soul Cycle and Cycle House have locations nationwide. For in-home workouts, I recommend signing up for Beachbody or Openfit.

Making a schedule and creating a routine is also another important factor to stay on track with your goals. I try to work out at least 5 times a week. My workouts include lifting weights, and focusing on cardio, abs, back, chest, triceps, shoulders, glutes, legs, playing tennis, and going hiking.

Fun workouts that you can do with friends are activities such as volleyball, rollerblading, skateboarding, rollerskating, karate, martial arts, or dance classes.

One major factor in working out is making sure your diet is in check. Sure putting in the work is important but what many people don’t do right is not balancing their workout and diet.

If you want to get that body in shape, you’ve got to make sure after your workouts that you are incorporating foods such as vegetables, organic or vegan and plant-based options, fruits, healthy proteins, and drinking plenty of water.

Staying fit is a full-time commitment so give it your all, keep going and stay consistent.
